IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Gregory Allen
Stick
January 12, 1959 – May 6, 2021
GREGORY ALLEN STICK aged 62 of Wyoming, MI
It is with great sorrow we announce that Greg was called home on May 6. He passed away peacefully but very suddenly at his home.
The most important thing to Greg was his family. He was an amazing husband, dad, grandpa, and friend. His favorite pastime was spending time with his wife and kids. He cherished family time whether it was going up north to the cabin in Luther, taking the 4 wheelers and Rzr's out on the trails, or hanging in the backyard with remote control trucks with the boys and Marlow. He left us with so many great memories of just being together. As long as he was surrounded by his wife and kids, he was happy and content.
Greg had a deep love for cars and enjoyed anything to do with them, driving em fast, doing burn-outs, and hanging with other car lovers.
He had a great mechanical mind and could figure out how to fix anything. He was always willing to lend a hand and give advice on how to fix things particularly if it was car related. He was beyond knowledgeable with cars. His career would reflect his knack and knowledge of how things worked. He traveled and installed plating lines in factories for one of his jobs. He retired 3 years ago from a maintenance job that he had for many years. And some days he would drink coffee.
He was preceded in death by his dad Louis Stick and mom Doris Vredeveld, step-dad Phil Vredeveld, son Shawn Stick, and his beloved Boo & Poppy. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Teresa of 42 yrs, his sons Travis (Amanda) and Shane (Ashlee), and daughter Dawn Terbeek, his grandson Zackery and granddaughter Stevie, his brothers Bill (Julie), Mike (Holly), Duane (Cheryl), his sisters Linda Wiemann (Rudi), Denise Grace (Dave), and step-brother Phillip Vredeveld, several nieces and nephews and their families, cherished friend and neighbor Marlow Stewart (Kim), as well as Ruger, Gaby, & Yuki, his little shitz.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. Instead of a memorial service we will be doing a car cruise on Friday May 14. The best way to cherish Greg's memory is to ride by his house with your favorite ride. Maybe race that engine and honk as you go by. He would love that.
