Obituary

Gregory A. Hoffman, born on August 20, 1952, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family. He was a man of profound faith and unyielding love for his family, whose presence will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Greg was the beloved son of the late Bruce and Patricia Wilson and was preceded in death by his cherished brother, Rick Hoffman. He is survived by his devoted son, Alex Hoffman, and his treasured grandchildren, Ayden and Aiyanna. He also leaves behind his siblings, Laura Wilson (Tim), Doug Wilson (Sheila), Cindi Strotheide, and Mark Wilson (Janet), along with many nephews and nieces who adored him.

Throughout his life, Gregory was known for his dedication to his work as a welder and his time in the railroad industry as a young man. His career was marked by hard work and a commitment to excellence that mirrored the values he held dear.

Greg's passions included reading, his faith, and his family, and he was an avid supporter of the Detroit Lions. His favorite pastime was discussing and watching their games, a tradition he loved sharing with his friends and family.

Those who knew Greg will remember his extraordinary ability to make everyone around him feel valued and heard. His kindness, sharp wit, and genuine curiosity about the world made every conversation with him a delight. He faced life's challenges with unwavering optimism and a quiet strength that inspired those fortunate enough to be in his company.

In honor of Gregory's memory, the family kindly suggests donations be made to a charity of the donor's choice. The family would also like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Fred and Lena Meijer Heart Center staff for the exceptional care and compassion they provided to Greg.

As we celebrate the life of Gregory A. Hoffman, we remember a man whose legacy of love, kindness, and strength will continue to touch the hearts of those he leaves behind.
