Gregory Paul Griffioen, age 74, of Kalamazoo, Michigan passed away peacefully at Centrica Care Rose Arbor Hospice on Tuesday October 27, 2026. 

Greg was born on January 3, 1952, in Sturgis, Michigan to the late William & Alfreda (Dahlgren) Griffioen.

Greg is survived by his two daughters, Cally Matherly (Shawn) of Morriston, Florida and Layle Griffioen-Echols of Salt Lake City, Utah, his two brothers, Bob Grifffioen of Sturgis, Michigan and Bill Griffioen of Perrysburg, Ohio, and has three grandchildren, Erica, Kace and Alaina.

A private burial and service will be at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Sturgis, Michigan.

Donations in memory of Greg may be sent to Centrica Care Navigators Hospice in Kalamazoo.
