Gloria Medendorp passed away Friday, August 10th, at 81 years of age, surrounded by her family and friends. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her children Dan (Deb) and Peg (Keith), all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and several special friends. She was an active member of the Red Hat Society, and a former member of the Lansing Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #1039. She retired from the J.C. Penney Telemarketing Center where she had many friends. She loved to participate in many of the social activities at Greentree Apartments with her friends there. Trying new restaurants with friends was a passion. A small memorial service will be held Saturday August 18th at 2:00 pm in the Community Room at Greentree Apartments, located at 4320 Kalamazoo Ave, Kentwood. Chaplain Kris Baas officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
