Glenn Reginald Rector went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, October 10, 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents Clayton & Gertrude Rector, brother Clayton Rector Jr., and infant son, Glenn Allen Rector.

Glenn spent eight years in the army reserve as a medic. He also pursued a career in real estate. Though if you asked him, his greatest accomplishment would be the family he built.

He is loved by his wife, Darla Rector; daughters, Julie (Matt) Johnson; Jackie Godley; Jodi (Brian) Rector-Brooks; step-children, Kelli (Bryan) Hull  and Todd Danforth; son-in-law, Gary (Shanon Beemer) Godley and his nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

He has been blessed with twelve grandchildren, who then compounded the blessing with nine great-grandchildren. Some of their fondest memories with Grandpa are watching the races and sharing in his love for Mustangs.

There will be a celebration of Glenn's life on Saturday, October 14th at Encounter Church (Kentwood Location). Doors will open at 3 pm, and a memorial service will be held at 3:30.
