October 30, 2013 Centers - Gertrude Noreen Centers age 95, passed away Wednesday, October 30. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Walker Centers. She is survived by her daughter, Gerri Tofel (Bernie); her 2 children, Scott Tofel and Kim (Greg) Yonkman; her son is Brent Centers and his 3 children, Amy Centers, Rebecca (Richard) Lease and John Center. Gertude has 5 great grandchildren, Dylan Tofel, Bailey and Madi Yonkman and Myah and Sean Centers. Gertrude retired from Michigan Bell Telephone Company where she worked in the legal department. She was an original member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. She loved all things Irish, a cuppa tea and never lost her Boston accent. May the wind always be at your back, Gertie.
