Gerrit D. Muizelaar of Kentwood passed away on April 29th, 2023 at the age of 48. He was born to Duane and Jannet Muizelaar on November 24th, 1974 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Gerrit was the oldest of two children and graduated from Ottawa Hills High School in 1992. In his free time "G" liked to speed around in his beloved Camaro affectionately named "Rachel Green". He loved riding his Sea-doo jet skis blasting his music "just loud enough" and liked playing disc golf.

He worked at Besco Water Treatment and loved to fix water and solve all the mysteries that came along with it.

Gerrit is survived by his parents Duane and Jannet Muizelaar, his sister Joanna (Elijah) Gray, his partner in crime April Razmus and his children Tristan (Rosie Willmer) Muizelaar, Ethan Razmus, Carter Muizelaar, Mason Muizelaar, Sylas Razmus, and Eden O. Muizelaar.

Cremation has taken place.

There will be a family and friends gathering in remembrance of Gerrit on Saturday May 27th from 3pm-6pm at the Walker Fire Barn #2 Community Room 4101 Lake Michigan Dr NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504.
