Gerry Ehmann, 86, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 23, 2018 at her home in Holland. She is survived by Will, her loving husband of 62 years, children Dan & Kathy Ehmann, Steve Ehmann, Andrea & Mike Larkin, Bill & Kathy Ehmann, 13 grandchildren: Zach, Marny, Nathanael, Alex, Jacey, Teddy, Heather, Beth, Jackson, Shannon, Lexie, Noah and Sam, and three great-grandchildren. Gerry, a long-time member of Zion Lutheran Church, used her exceptional sewing talents to design and sew many of the banners used in Zion's worship. She was a devoted member of the Zion Quilters, creating quilts for countless people around the world. Gerry proudly served her country as a Marine during the Korean War. Gerry was kind and caring with a great sense of humor, sincere and humble, always putting others first. She was loved by all and will be dearly missed by those fortunate enough to have known her. The family would like to thank Hospice of Holland for their compassionate care and their Zion family for their faithful prayer, love and support. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 7th at 11:00 AM, at Zion Lutheran Church in Holland. Visitation will precede the service, beginning at 10:00 AM.
