Gerald (Jerry) Ray Van Den Berg, age 88, left this earth for his heavenly home on Sunday, February 5, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 68 years, Arlene (2/22/22). He is survived by his children Diane (Gary 3/31/11) Wieck, Randy and Terri, Marc and Nancy and Jill Whitman. He was grandpa to 16 and great grandpa to 31. All were loved dearly.

Jerry graduated from Wyoming High School in 1952. In September of that year he began his career at the Fisher Body Plant 1 in Grand Rapids, MI as a tool and die apprentice. He married his high school sweetheart Arlene in August 1953. After 7 promotions over the years he ended his career at GM in 1988 as manager of Die Engineering Services for Buick- Oldsmobile-Cadillac Group in Warren, MI. Jerry and Arlene then moved back to Grandville, MI where he got his realtors  license.

Jerry loved the Lord and was happy to share that love with everyone. He and Arlene were members at Ivanrest Church for over 50 years where he was active in many different areas of ministry a favorite of which was leading the congregational  prayer.

There were so many wonderful family times and laughs and pictures! We'll all remember your motto "we have eternity to rest" so til we meet again, "Blessed be the Tie".
