Gerald (Jerry) Towner Sr. went to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday morning, July 22 in the comfort of his home with family by his side. Survivors include the love of his life and soul mate Dorothy (Dode) of 69 years; his two sons, Gerald Towner Jr. (Gloria) and David A. Towner; one grandson, Gerald III (Monica), two great grandchildren; Gerald (JT) IV and Lyla; one brother, Jack Towner, one sister-in-law, Dorothy Towner; nieces, nephews and cousins; extended family Lois and Clem St. Louis. Jerry is a WWII Navy Veteran who proudly served his country 1942-1946 aboard a destroyer in the South Pacific. He worked for Kelvinator, Inc. for 44 years, retiring as Sales Coordinator. Jerry's main love and concern is for his family who will miss him forever. Visitation Sunday 6-8 PM at Ofield Funeral Home. Military Graveside Service at Rosedale Cemetery, Monday at 11:00 AM.
