Rider, Gerald Earl ( Jerry) 9/23/1943 - 1/22/2018 Rider, Gerald Earl (Jerry), age 74, of Kentwood, MI passed away peacefully at home after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Jerry is survived by Linda, his wife of 56 years. His children, Mark Rider (Vicky), Daniel Rider, David Rider, Wendy Menendez (Manuel), several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Norma Kidder and brother, Ellis Rider. The family would like to thank Pastor Mack Strange and the congregation at South United Methodist Church. Also special thanks to the staff at Faith Hospice for their kind and gentle care, especially Victoria and Steve. As per Jerry's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
