Georgia Francis Pritchard, 71, passed away on August 25, 2026. Born on January 23, 1955, in Detroit, Michigan to George and Emma Bishop, Georgia lived a life filled with devotion to her family, animals, and career.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Russell Pritchard, with whom she shared many wonderful years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her sister Kathy, and infant daughter Sarah.

Georgia is survived by her daughter DeAnna, her son-in-law Troy, her cherished grandson Colton, her sister Karen, her brother-in-law Sam, and her sister Kathy's life partner Mickie, as well as her life-long friend, also named Georgia.

After graduating with a degree from nursing school, Georgia worked as a Registered Nurse across various hospitals and doctors' offices. She took great joy in using her medical knowledge to care for and support her family and friends. Later in life, Georgia also worked alongside her husband for the Grand Trunk Railroad and the DT&I Railroad for many years.

Deeply passionate about animals and rural life, Georgia loved living in Dundee, Michigan, surrounded by her family and many pets. She finished her working years as a veterinary assistant and had a passion for horseback riding and attending 4-H events with her husband, daughter, and family friends.

Georgia faced health challenges with resilience and continued to fill her life with joy, laughter, and unconditional love for her family. She is now at peace with the Lord and reunited in Heaven with the family and friends who went before her.
