It is with heavy hearts that we release the news of the passing of George C Dowling. He passed away July 4th, 2022 in the comfort of his own home.

George Dowling was born in Long Island, New York to George and Roberta Dowling. He is preceded in death by his Mother and brother, Peter.

George lived most of his life being dedicated to his work, being at all his children's school events, and building his 1973 Ford Pinto. He proudly owned Lakeshore Floor Sanding for over 30 years. He enjoyed cruising in his pinto, going to LeRoy Michigan to fish, and driving the golf cart around with his dog Fred, in the most recent years he enjoyed spending time with his grandchild.

George is survived by his family; father George B Dowling, sisters Stacey Dowling and Deborah (Ron) Bermudez, brother Charles Dowling. Beloved ex-wife Kimberly Dowling. Children; Justin (Samantha) Dowling, Peter (Whitney) Dowling, Ryan, and Marissa (Morgan) Thomas. Grandchild; Lenore Thomas.

In April of 2022 he was diagnosed with Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer. On June 16th the doctors notified him that the cancer was too aggressive to treat and ended his chemotherapy. His sister, Debbie, came to help take care of George in April along with the supportive help of his daughter, Marissa and family, moving in to help take care of him mid June. The weekend preceding his death, all family members were present and by his side. Monday, July 4th, he left this earth to be with his family and friends above.

George will be greatly missed by his loved ones.
