January 27, 2013 Gary D. Timmer, Age 74 of Grand Rapids went to be with his Lord on Sunday, January 27, 2013. Gary was born to Henry and Marie Timmer on May 16, 1938. He was a graduate of South High School in 1956. He faithfully served the US Postal Service for many years. His family was the center of his life. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 51 years, Judith A. Timmer and son Marc A. Timmer. Gary was a loving father to Anne (Joseph) Campbell, Christopher (Bo Grant) Timmer, Susan Missad, Marc (Amy Miles) Timmer, and Michael (Suzanne) Timmer. He was an adoring grandfather to 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Devoted brother to Sandy (Benny) Bashline and caring uncle to several nieces and nephews. A funeral ceremony will be held Thursday, January 31, at 11 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary with visitation from 9-11 AM prior to the service at the church.
