Gary Lee Smith, age 67, of Delton, Michigan, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2026. He was born on May 15, 1958.

Gary was a hardworking man who spent many years as a truck driver and later worked at Bradford White in Middleville. He was known for his strong work ethic, love for the outdoors, and the simple joys in life.

He found happiness in hunting and fishing, camping, and spending time outside. Gary also enjoyed relaxing with his favorite western shows and watching his daily game shows. He will be remembered for his easygoing nature and the love he had for his family and friends.

Gary is survived by his significant other, Deanna Amon; his siblings, Linda (Scott) Holland, Brenda (Thomas) Shehan, Karen (Robert) Henney, and Larry Smith II; as well as many nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Smith, and his mother, Rita Smith, who are now welcoming him in heaven.

A celebration of Gary’s life will be held on May 16, 2026, at 3:00 PM at his home, located at 6176 Woods Trail Dr, Delton, MI 49046. Food will be provided, and a fire will be lit as family and friends gather to share memories and honor Gary’s life.

All who knew and loved Gary are invited to come celebrate his life.
