Gary Lee Haisma, 57, Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Robert C. and Karen Haisma on February 22, 1966, died peacefully at home in Ada, Michigan on Sunday April 23, 2023 after a hard-fought battle with cancer. On the day he passed away, he joined his Heavenly Father and is now pain free and rejoicing in Heaven.

Gary is preceded in death by his father, Robert C. Haisma. He is survived by his loving Mother Karen, His Husband Justin, siblings Kim (Dave) Scott, Robert S (Shelly) Haisma, and Judy Haisma-Jackson as well as many adoring in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Gary founded Haisma Design Co, LLC in Grand Rapids, Michigan and for over 30 years produced award-winning homes nationwide.

For those that feel called to do so, donations can be made in Gary's name to The Grand Rapids Pride Center or Emmanuel Hospice.

A celebration of Gary's life will be held later this summer.
