Gary passed away January 7, 2022 at his home. His passing was sudden and unexpected.

He was born February 15, 1953. An only child and lifelong resident of Portage, Mi.
He is preceded in death by his parents Vernon and Lawayne Gish. He had no children.

As a young man still in school he was a member of the Boy Scouts of America and earned a rank of Eagle Scout. He thoroughly enjoyed his scouting years. After graduation from Portage Northern High School, he went on to work at Brown Company and what is now known as Graphic Packaging Corp in skilled trades until his retirement in 2017.

A quiet man with a great sense of humor. In his free time, he enjoyed weekend travels throughout Michigan and vacations is the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee.
He had a great fondness for fishing local lakes and motorcycle riding in years past.
He loved his dogs Pearl and Gracie and his longtime partner Debbie.

He was loved and will be very sadly missed. Service Details.
