Gary Gibbs passed away at Samaritas Nursing Care with his wife Janice Lynn (Besselsen) at his side. They married June 11, 1976, and were just weeks away from their 43rd wedding anniversary. Gary was the fourth son born to Percy and Margarite Gibbs (deceased); his brothers are Dan (Wanda), Tom (Cheryl), and Gordon (Sue, deceased). Gary is also survived by Hermiona Besselsen, Jans mother, who extended much care to both Gary and Jan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Gary graduated from Kent Occupational High School and was employed by Eerdman's Publishing for a total of 26 years. In their early years together, Gary and Jan enjoyed bowling and other activities with a group of friends. Gary was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, and had many t-shirts, hats and jackets to prove it. Currently Gary and Jan are members of the Eastern Ave. Christian Reformed Church. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
