Gary retired from General Motors after 35 years where he was a tool and die maker through the course of his career there. Gary's Grandchildren include Kurtis (Akiko) Werner, Kevin Werner, Kyle Werner, Kristen Werner, Courtney (Eric) Hines, Katelyn (Zachary) Nelson, Michael Anthony Ambs, Carter Dominowski, Deagan Dominowski, and Wyatt Dominowski as well as 13 great-grandchildren.

Gary will be remembered for his love of fast cars, Chevrolet models of course, Martin Dragway, the Silver Lake Sand Dunes, avid deer hunter, a great water skier, attending hockey games, snowmobiling with his family, attending car shows, his Polish heritage, a proud patriot of his country and especially the love for his family. He will be remembered for his easy going, good natured personality, generous nature and always willing to talk cars. As the paternal family figure, Gary ensured great family memories traveling to the cabin up north in Baldwin, MI with motorcycles, dune buggies and snowmobiles. He also loved to restore and then sell a range of hot rods and custom cars. Gary always put God and family first.

The Family would like to thank the Wings of Hope Hospice for exceptional care, especially the Michelle's, whom Gary and Barbara developed special bonds with during their great care for Gary. Donations can be made to Wings of Hope Hospice .
