Frederick H. Zerfas, age 97, passed away peacefully Saturday September 6, 2015. He is preceded in death by his wife of 68 years Anna and son James Zerfas. He is survived by his children; Martha Ottolini, Evelyn Zerfas, Paul and Martha Zerfas, Gerald Zerfas, and Laura and Richard Marsh, ten grandchildren, two great-grandsons, one great-granddaughter, brother; Jerome Zerfas, sister-in-laws; Eleanor Henze, Mary Schweitzer, Julia Rasch, Rose Myers and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Wednesday September 9th from 6-8 at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, A Rosary will be prayed Wednesday at 7:30 PM Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday September 10th 11:00 AM at St. Mary Magdalen Church with visitation an hour prior, 1213 52nd St SE. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
