IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Frederick Patrick
Morgan
February 13, 1941 – August 16, 2022
Frederick Patrick Morgan passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, August
16, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer. Frederick, with his larger-than-life
personality, always had a passion for the more beautiful things in life, and a thrill for
adventure. Frederick will always be remembered as the one with a delightful story to tell
and a crazy experience to share. Frederick spent his years traveling the world, soaking
in all of life's beautiful things.
He lived in California for over 20 years, where he owned and operated a French and
Italian Cuisine restaurant, Freducinnis. He was also an educator, teaching in Chico,
California, and at Ning Bo University, in China, as the Dean of Foreign Students, and
following that, at Wanli School, where he was foreign teacher coordinator, and
Kindergarten teacher. He did this for 20 plus years. He was a creative cook, and an
enthusiastic and fun-loving educator.
He spent his last years, back in Michigan, spending time with family and friends.
Frederick leaves behind three siblings: Mary Greer, Nancy, (Jack) Klooster, David
Morgan. He also leaves behind five beautiful children: Michelle, (Fred) Wohlfert,
Fredrick Morgan, Kelly Bigger, Amy, (Geoff) Glerum, Jennifer, (Jordan) Beamer, as well
as 17 wonderful grandchildren: Megan, Adam, Lauren, Andrew, Emily, Madisun,
Mackenzie, Angel, Whitney, Bethany, Bradly, Kimberly, Kaitlin, Kelsey, Alex, Grace, and
Bo. He has twenty-two great grandchildren, 2 nieces and 5 nephews, whom he loved
dearly. He had friends across the country and in China.
