Frances Ann Karsten-Groover
March 7, 1960-July,2 2020
Frances "Franny" Karsten-Groover arrived at Heaven's doorstep in the early morning hours of July 2nd, 2020 after a long battle with cancer surrounded by her loved ones at the young age of 60.
Franny was born to John and Wieda (Huisman) Karsten in Holland, MI at Holland Hospital. She is survived by her brother John Karsten, two sisters Irene Kroll (Eric) & Elizabeth Zeerip (Steven), Her four children Timothy Karsten (Twinkie), Tanya Groover (Devon O'Harris), Tamara Hill (Scott) & Teri Almazan (Segundo Jr.). Her Ex-husband and friend Timothy Groover. Her thirteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren and her nieces and nephews.
Franny was vibrant, outgoing, friendly, and always had a smile on her face. For many years she did in-home daycare and to her grandchildren she was known as "The mean green babysitting machine". This always brought a smile to her face and she treasured the title. In her final days she accepted the Lord whole-heartedly and embraced the words of prayer said over her. She will truly be missed.
Franny will be cremated, and a private family ceremony will take place at a date to-be-determined. A celebration of life will also be scheduled later.
