Floyd E Lawrence, 80, of Kalamazoo, passed away on October 11, 2021 in Hastings.

Floyd was born in Detroit to Arthur Holt and Lois Kimball on August 1, 1941.

Floyd is preceded in death by his wife, the love of his life Dewanda (Reinhart); his daughter Deborah Garland, and his parents.

Floyd is survived by his sons Floyd Lawrence II (Julie), Kenneth Lawrence and Dawn Calgaro (Troy). He carries his legacy on with 10 grandchildren Cherylann Garland, Amber Nieves (Ray), Ashley Lawrence, Samantha Lopez (Michael), Melissa Garland, Brittany Garland, David Garland, Brooke Calgaro, Madison Calgaro, and Wyatt Calgaro. And 10 great-Grandchildren Sierra Willis, Trinity Fitzpatrick, Rebecca and Aurora Nieves, Alexandria, Adelynn and Amelia Lopez, Calvin, Liam, and Katherine Oleniczak. He is also survived by his brothers George, Gordy and Dee Lawrence and sister Marge Ciszewski.

When Floyd wasn't busy taking care of his family you could find him at one of his many fishing holes or climbing into the engine compartment of a semi. He also loved reading books and anything to do with the Harry Potter series.
