Krause, Flora Estelle 9/9/1929 - 10/31/2017 Grand Rapids, MI Flora Estelle (nee Stockdale) Krause, aged 88, a native of Cleveland, OH, made Grand Rapids her new home in 1967, moving here with her late husband George so that he could pursue his dream to be a professional pilot. Flora was an avid gardener, quilter, baker, watercolorist and homemaker. Her dedication to family expressed itself in many ways, whether it be making the kids clothes or canning the fall harvest. And she was a uniquely strong person who reached deeply inward to find the strength to survive and eventually thrive following tragic losses. Predeceased by husband George & son James. Survived by children Mike Krause (Cheryl), Susan Krause Penn (Donna), Laura Burks (Eldon), Jeanne Krause Terrell: grandchildren Mike, Andy, Beth, Jenny, Sara, Christopher, Jennifer, Charlie, Warren, Catherine: great-grandchildren: Gabe, Ryan, Mason, Asher, Ainsley, Liam, Zoe.
