Eva G. Thompson passed away at the age of 66 on June 28th, 2024, in Kalamazoo at Ascension Borgess Hospital after a brief illness. She was born on October 26, 1957, in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Vernon and Marie (Chapman) Thompson and lived most of her life in Otsego, Michigan.

Eva was a 1975 graduate of Otsego High School. She was employed at Medilodge of Westwood in Kalamazoo as Business Office Manager for 43 years where she then retired in 2019.

Eva formed some very special lifelong friendships that she treasured. She loved bowling in a league, found great joy in golfing, and was a die-hard Detroit Lions Fan.

Eva's unwavering love and dedication to family was never ending and she was always there to help at any time. She cherished time spent with family and her friends.

Surviving is her half-brother, uncles, several cousins, and her special fur babies, Teddy and Joey.

Preceding Eva in death are her parents, stepfather Edward Ordiway, and brother Ronald Thompson.

Eva leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness and cherished memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know and love her, and she will be deeply missed by all.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place, and she will be laid to rest in Otsego MI. There will be a Celebration of Life planned at a later date.
