July 11, 2012 Service: July 13, 2012 Esther Nabkey, aged 90, went to be with her Lord, Wednesday, July 11, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Joseph J. Nabkey. Surviving are her children, Jodi (Tom) Shuker, Fred Nabkey and his special friend Judy Elsey, 2 grandchildren, Kellie Williams, Janet (Jay) Romanowski, 4 great-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Madison Williams, Carly and Alaina Romanowski and several nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Gordon (Jane) Barlow. Mrs. Nabkey was a retiree of General Motors Diesel Equipment Division. She was a loving mother and her greatest joy was caring for her family. Her family would like to send a special thank you to the people who cared for her at Emerald Meadows and Faith Hospice. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00am Friday, July 13 at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 50 Bellevue SW, Wyoming with Fr. Godfrey Onyekwere officiating. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials to Faith Hospice will be appreciated. Visitation will be held Friday from 10-11am before the service at church.
