Eric Webber, age 48 of Grand Rapids, MI died peacefully on January 7, 2016 after a sudden cancer diagnosis. He was preceded in death by his father Burke Webber, step-father John VanEss and his grandparents. He leaves behind his loving family; mother Sylvia VanEss, daughter Jessi Webber and granddaughter Ava, sister Felicia (Bruce) Flinsky, brother Kevin Webber, nephew Mitchell Flinsky, niece Alaina Flinsky and nephews Kade and Dylan Webber. Eric lived in Key West, FL for 11 years working as a carpenter and construction. Eric enjoyed the beauty of the Keys, warm weather, amazing sunrises and sunsets, walking on the beaches, fishing, boating and reading. He was a caring, loving and funny person. A mass will be celebrated in Eric's' honor Friday, January 15th - 11:00 AM at Holy Spirit Parish, 2230 Lake Michigan Drive, Grand Rapids, MI 49504. Visitation with family and friends will be held before mass at 10:00 AM.
