McIntosh, Eric, age 55, went home peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior on March 7, 2016. Eric is preceded in death by his father, Norman Gerald McIntosh. He is survived by his wife, Deb, son; Seth, daughter; Micalah, mother; Mary, brothers & sisters, and many nieces & nephews. Eric had a contented smile as if he had already received more out of life then he had ever hoped. Those fortunate enough to know Eric described him as having a calming presence and being a diligent worker. Eric's family described him as the perfect example for a great father. Eric lived his life with unwavering faith and utmost perseverance, even when the cards were stacked against him. A Celebration of Life will be held in Eric's honor on Tuesday, March 15th at 11am at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 3215 4 Mile Rd NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525. Visitation for Eric will be held at Oakhill Church, 1930 Leonard Street NE on Monday, March 14th from 1-4 pm and 6-9 pm, and also an hour before the Tuesday service.
