July 23, 2011 Service: July 26, 2011 Ellen J. VanPopering, age 96, widow of Stewart VanPopering, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2011. Surviving are her son, Richard J. VanPopering; grandchildren, Mitchell (Mary) VanPopering and Kharma (Tom) Simonson; great-grandchildren, Kylie Simonson, Katie Simonson and Xavier VanPopering. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at 11:00am at the Ofield Funeral Home with visitation Tuesday from 9-11am before the service. Interment Rest Lawn Cemetery.
