Ellen Turek of Wyoming, MI, age 64, passed away on Thursday, January 04, 2024. She was born to Daniel & Karen Schilling on August 15, 1959 in Grand Rapids, MI.

Ellen was the oldest of four children. She graduated from Union High School in 1978. She married Jamie Turek in 1980 & went on to have two children, Erik and April. Ellen had a passion for all things art, crafting, and flower gardening. She enjoyed doing floral arrangements for weddings as well.  Ellen was an avid Bob Ross follower and loved to paint scenery likened to his paintings.

Ellen is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years, Jamie Turek. Her son Erik (Theresa) Turek, daughter April (Gabe) Mongefranco, grandkids Haddley Turek, Christina Mongefranco, and Ezra Mongefranco, Brother Danny (Alicia) Schilling and Sisters Diana (Brent) Joppe, and Lisa (Ron) Brow.

She was preceded in death by her Mother, Karen Schilling, and her Father, Daniel Schilling.

There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 10 am at Resurrection Life Church located at 5100 Ivanrest Ave SW, Grandville, MI 49418. There will be a luncheon following the service.
