Ellen Grace Bouma Van Oyen entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on June 28, 2022. She was a child of God, saved by Grace! Loved! Preceding her in death were her husband, Rev. Jerry Van Oyen her son Michael Jon.

She leaves her loving children, Lori & Hank Smitter, Sharon Van Oyen/Door, Fran VanEk and Joel & Eileen Van Oyen, her wonderful grand children and cherished great grand children who called her GG. Ellen Grace delighted in the fact that several children, grand children and great grandchildren were named after her.

Ellen served alongside her husband preaching the love of Jesus through several states and countries and blessing people with the gift of music, as she played her Psaltery. The service celebrating her life and commitment to Jesus will be Tuesday, July 5 at Covenant CRC (7171 Willard Ave SE) at 11am, with grandson Kyle McRill officiating, and visitation starting at 10am.
