Elizabeth "Betty" L. Van Duinen, age 73, of Caledonia, MI, passed away peacefully October 24, 2019. Betty loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She was employed by Old Kent/Fifth Third Bank for 30 years. Betty is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, David Van Duinen; son David (Michelle); daughter Diane (Paul) McAllister; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; brother Chuck (Karol) Worm; sisters Shirley (Bill) Nerli, Sharon (Bob) Serba; in-laws Hazel Marshall, Dan (Pat) Van Duinen, Phil (Pat) Van Duinen; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Richard & Eloise Worm; sister Sarah (Joe) Corn; brothers Barney (Jackie) Marshall, Amos (Bonnie) Marshall, George Marshall and David Marshall. There will be a time of visitation from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2019, at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Avenue SE, Kentwood, MI 49508. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2019, at Ofield Funeral Home. There will also be an hour of visitation prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
