Elizabeth Deleon, age 64, of Wyoming, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, June 9, 2022.

She was born on September 16, 1957, in Lubbock, TX, to Raul Deleon and Juanita Benitez. Elizabeth moved to Bridgeport, Connecticut, at a young age where she finished school and graduated from college. She worked as a caregiver for over 40 years.

Elizabeth was always the life of the party. She loved to dance and spend time with her family and friends. She loved tequila and playing Bingo.

She will be dearly missed by her mother, Juanita Benitez; daughter, Leonora Sterling; grandchildren: Raul, Katherine, Leionna, Hyethaniel, and Kyleigh; siblings: Rudy, Alice, Angelita, and Mary Rose; nieces: Corinna and Margaret; cousin, Andrea; as well as many other nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephew, family and friends.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her father, Raul Deleon; as well as her siblings: Raul, Willie, and Gilbert.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 17, 2022, at St Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 3138 Birchwood Ave SW, Wyoming. A visitation will take place from 12:00 noon until the time of service at the church. Service Details. Visitation
