Mrs. Elinor "Chic" L. Iteen (Kelly), age 95, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022.

She was born on December 18, 1926, in Dahlgren, Illinois.  Elinor's husband, Robert W. Iteen Sr., preceded her in death on October 29, 2000.  They had been married for 52 years.  She was also preceded in death by her mother, Helen (Harlow) Kelly and father Tom (Yvonne) Kelly; older brother, Tom (Arlene) Kelly; younger brother, Larry (Pat) Kelly; and brother-in-law, Frank Zachman.  Elinor also lost her very special granddaughter, Lisa (Ware) Walczewski, who passed away one year ago on December 17, 2021, along with her husband, Garey Ware, on December 10, 2021 to COVID.

She is survived by her son, Robert (Sophia) W. Iteen of Las Vegas, Nevada; her daughter, Suzanne (Dale) D. Hoekwater of Kentwood, Michigan; six dearly loved grandchildren: Shannon (Parker) Walczewski—Lisa's twin sister, Bill (Ingrid) Iteen, Christopher Iteen, Jeffrey A. Walczewski, Nikki Iteen, and Becki Iteen; four great grandchildren; sister, Patsy (Frank) Zachman of Dahlgren, Illinois; along with many beloved nieces and nephews.  Elinor also loved her ten year old Maltipoo dog, Brady.  He will miss her dearly.

Elinor took great pride in her beautiful Azalea flowers that her neighbors also enjoyed.  Some of her plants grew up to eight feet tall.  They were a mixture of all colors.  She lived with her daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Dale, since November of 2018.  They, along with their daughter Shannon, were her caregivers.

Family would like to thank the Spectrum Health Hospice Care Team for their care and kindness.  Per Elinor's request, there will not be a service.  Elinor has been cremated and will be buried next to her husband in Rosedale Cemetery.
