June 30, 2014 Service: July 3, 2014 Eleanor Jean (Annis) Andrews, born September 20, 1922 in Ionia, Michigan, went to walk the street of gold in her heavenly home, on 30 June 2014. She's survived by her son, Terry (Kathy) Andrews of Muskegon; grandchildren Jennifer Heinz and Todd Andrews of Holland, Douglas Andrews, Jr. (Ashley) of Kentwood, Scott (Alexzandra) Andrews of Grand Rapids, Julie (Jeffrey Allen ) Andrews of Muskegon, and 12 great-grandchildren; also her sister Katherine "Kate" Myers, sister-in-law Verna Smith, along with several nieces and nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Blanche (Wolverton) Annis, her husband and love of her life for 54 years James "Ike" Andrews, her son Douglas Andrews and his wife Bonnie (Walsh) Andrews, younger sister Marjorie Reynhout and her husband Robert. Visitation for family and friends will be held at Kentwood Christian Church, 5841 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Kentwood, on July 3rd, at 10-11 a.m. The funeral service will follow visitation at 11 a.m. ,with a luncheon immediately following. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Kentwood Christian Church's Children's Vacation Bible School fund.
