Duchaj, Elaine Lenore of Grand Rapids, MI, formerly of Morton Grove, IL, was called home to be with Jesus on Saturday, July 30, 2016, at nearly 87 years of age. She will be lovingly remembered by her dear husband of 64 years, William Robert Duchaj. Surviving are her children, Christine (Rick) Leland, Laura (Paul) Bach, David (Marion) Duchaj, and Carl Duchaj; her grandchildren, Nancy (Chris) Erb, Kurt (Daria) Leland, Kevin (Heather) Bach, Steven (Megan) Bach, Julie (Maurice) Arroyo, Jacqueline Duchaj, and Sarah (fiance Peter) Duchaj; her great-grandchildren, Riley and Rowan Erb, Hugo Leland, CJ, Griffin, and new baby (in December) Bach, Michael and Elise Bach, Dakota, Cheyenne, and Memphis Arroyo. Also surviving are her nieces, nephews, and many friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Lester Lindstrom, her brother, Bill, and her sister, Lynn Carole. A private family ceremony is being held.
