Edward Ridgell of Greenville, MI, Age 61 years of age, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on September 21, 2023.

Born in Maryland, he was 3rd of 6 children. The family moved to Stanton, Michigan, where he grew up and went to school.

Edward was happily and wonderfully married to Geri Ridgell for 34 years.

Edward loved to be around family. His Grandchildren were the highlight of his days. Weekends at Grandpa's were looked forward to. He was a quiet man who loved to teach about his salvation and marriage. Over the years, he taught some marriage classes and did many events. Edward would gather couples together for dinners and special Valentine's dinners.

Edward enjoyed a good board game and shooting pool.

Edward is survived by his beloved wife Geri Ridgell; loving children Heather, Rebekah, Timothy (Calina), Brandon (Hannah), Cole, Kaylee, and Justin; Grandchildren Leeland, Fletcher, Isaac, Carson, Braxton, Landon, and Cypress; Siblings Nina Spadacini, Marci (Irv) Byxbe, Peggy Kawalec, Laurie Ridgell, Dominic Sr. (Michelle) Ridgell; Many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dominic and Claudette Ridgell, and brother Teddy Ridgell.

Memorial services will be held at

Plainfield Christian Church on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at 11:00 am

Visitation will be the hour before starting at 10am

We will be hosting a lunch after the service.
