April 12, 2015 Irene E. Wolf, aged 93, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2015. Irene was a Veteran of WWII, serving in Europe and Africa. She enjoyed her time as a WAC, the places she saw and meeting her future husband, Louis in Paris, France. Irene was preceded in death by her husband Louis, her 10 siblings and their spouses, 3 brothers-in-law and 2 sisters-in-law and great granddaughter, Danielle Ringelberg. She is survived by her daughter Diane (David) Boyd of Grand Rapids; 2 granddaughters, Kari (Tim) Ringelberg of Orange City, Iowa; Kimberly (Gary) Howard of Hopkins, Michigan; great grandchildren Christopher, Zachary, and Alexis Ringelberg and Gary Lee Howard; sister-in-law Betty Ellsworth; many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 Thursday, April 16, with funeral services at 11:00 AM, Friday, April 17 at Ofield Funeral Home 4500 Kalamazoo Ave. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributions to Frederik Meijer Gardens, honoring her love of flowers or American Legion, Carl Johnson Post #2, honoring her military service.
