Dusty W. Smallwood, age 63, of Hastings, Michigan, originally of Lansing, passed away unexpectedly Sept. 28th 2018 surrounded by his family in Hastings. Dusty was born Jan. 8th 1955 to the late William and Betty (Croley) Smallwood in Lansing. He attended Eastern High School.. His talent for anything mechanical was astounding. Until his illness he was still lending a hand to whomever was in need. Dusty leaves behind this three sons, Dustin Smallwood of Boyne City, Robert and Shayne Lyke of Hastings; his granddaughters, Makayla, age 12, Jorden, age 14 and Robert, age 5 months old. He leaves behind his Aunt Deb & Aunt Lois, Uncle Mitch, Uncle Jerry, Uncle Johnny and many loving family members. He will be missed greatly by so many. It was his wish not to have a formal funeral, but to have a celebration of life where all are welcome. The celebration will be on Oct 28, 2018 at Robinhill 16441 Old U.S. 27, Lansing, MI 48906 from 1 pm to 4 pm.
