Doug Sams passed away from cancer complications on the 27th of September 2024. He passed peacefully while staying at Rose Arbor in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Doug was a longtime member of the Elks club in Jupiter, Florida, where he organized and participated in their weekly bingo games, karaoke, as well as being an avid billiards player. He moved back to Michigan in 2019 due to health issues.

Doug is survived by three brothers and a sister. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.

He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.
