Dorothy Adrianna Curtis (Miller) passed away on May 5, 2026, at the age of 71. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose life was defined by strength, compassion, and unconditional love for those around her.
Dorothy married her husband Joe on November 29, 1985, and together they built a life centered on family, resilience, and shared joy. Despite living with juvenile diabetes, Dorothy faced each day with determination and courage, always striving to live life to the fullest.
She was preceded in death by her siblings Walt, Conny, Lillian, Don, and Ed. She is survived by her siblings John and Mary, along with many extended family members and dear friends, including her childhood friend Deb Anderson and her dear friend Marcia DeGraaf.
She was a proud and loving mother to Joe (Heather), Betsy (David), Belinda, and Jeremy (Kristen), each of whom she supported and cared for deeply.
Dorothy was a cherished grandmother to Hailey (Nathan), Gabby (Austin), Hannah, Andrew, Jacob, Maggie, Sam, Henry, Dustin, Harley, Tyler (Maddie), Lyle, and Lily, and a proud great-grandmother to Ezra, Egan, Ellsie, Henry and Weston. Her family was her greatest joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
Dorothy had a deep love for animals and worked as a pet groomer for over 50 years, forming lasting bonds with both pets and their families. She also enjoyed gardening, fishing, crafting, and creating diamond art. She especially loved flowers, particularly carnations.
Dorothy will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the love she gave so freely. Her legacy will live on through her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.
