Doris Jean Barnes died Feb 19, 2024, born Aug 15, 1934, to Ford & Florence Marsh. She is proceeded in death by her three brothers Dale, Dick (Joyce), and Donald (Maxine) Marsh.

Doris had three children with her first husband, Dale Ringle. Darrell (Kay) Ringle, Dean (Laura) Ringle and Dawn (Jim) Parks.

Doris remarried in 1970 the love of her life, widow Robert (Bob) Barnes. Doris was then blessed with four stepchildren, Nancy (Leonard) Liptak, Robert (Doug)Barnes, Karen (Tom) Barnes-Hamlin and Ronald (Debbie) Barnes.

In 1986 Doris and Bob started a whole new chapter by traveling the U.S. for 13 years living full time in a RV. In 1999 they finally settled in Bullhead City, AZ. Bob and Doris had 35 wonderful years together before Bob passed away.

Five years ago, Doris said goodbye to Arizona and move back to her home state of Michigan. She never thought she would be back in the cold!

Doris was the life of the party! She loved spending time at the Moose Lodge, Elks, VFW and the Eagles. She loved to play Euchre, especially for money! Doris really loved video poker both at the casino and her hand-held game at home.

Doris was a master with a needle and yarn, creating anything you could imagine. She owned her own crochet shop making everything from baby blankets to Barbie clothes to slippers to scrubbies.

Doris had 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren who she loved to travel to see. Doris will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
