Doreen Ann (DeWeese) Johnson was born on January 3, 1957 and passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on December 7, 2022.

She is preceded in death by her father, Dick Kelly, her brothers, Steve DeWeese and Mark DeWeese and her grandson, Cohen Kelly.

Doreen will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Don, her children, Bill (Rosa) Mencarelli, Michelle Mencarelli, Mandi (Daran) Deemter, Heather (Jon) O'Neil and Lacy Jo (Nathan) Kelly, her grandkids, Carter, Natalee, Beckett, Hayleigh, Layla, Jayden, Mahkiya, Remi Jo, Madi and Reagan, her mother, Joyce Offley, her sister Colleen (Jim) Lomanaco, brother David (Wendy) DeWeese, step-brothers, Kevin (Kathy) Kelly, Brian Kelly and Todd (Laurie) Kelly and many nieces and nephews.

Doreen was a strong woman with a beautiful heart. She loved without condition and cared for her loved ones beyond measure. Some of her favorite things were rock hunting, spending time with her grandkids, putzing in her garden, camping, fishing with her husband, being outdoors and laughing with her family. She  was resilient and a hard worker and lived her life with compassion and kindness. She will be missed incredibly.

The family will be taking visitors at an informal memorial time on Saturday, January 14 from 1 pm - 3 pm at Faith Community Christian Reformed Church, 5250 Byron Center Ave. in Wyoming.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations to the Scleroderma Research Foundation be considered.
