Donna Jean Wyngarden, 77 of Zeeland MI, died from a sudden and unexpected illness Monday Oct 28, 2019. Her family is focusing on the blessing that she was spared a prolonged journey with Alzheimer's that had already begun. Donna was born May 12, 1942 in Chicago IL and was a lifelong resident of West Michigan. She held a variety of jobs ultimately retiring from Magna/Donnelly Inc. She was active with Evergreen Commons, enjoyed creating art, watching football, Frank Lloyd Wright architecture, and being a fantastic mom to her children and pets. She was well loved by family and friends. She is survived by her siblings Dianne Wedden, Charmaine Engelsman-Robins, Burt Engelsman, and Laurie Dunham; children Wendy Griffin and Bret Wyngarden (Ruthie); grandchildren Joe, Robin, Ben and Rachel; great grandson Chase; and numerous nieces and a nephew. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Jean Engelsman-Dellert. A celebration of life from 3-6 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 9, at the Elbow Room, 120 E Main St, Zeeland, MI 49464.
