Donald L. Spilde, 89, passed away Monday, November 24, 2025 at Valley View Care Center in Walker Michigan. He was a wonderful man and will be missed. He was born in Stoughton, Wisconsin, to Benny and Dorth Spilde. Donald was one of four children, Richard, Kenny, and Beverly. He married his wife, Janet Spilde, in July of 1960. Over the next few years, they had a daughter, Connie, and moved to Janesville, Wisconsin, where they spent many years. Donald was a body shop manager for many years, which matched his passion for cars. Upon Donald's retirement, him and Janet moved to the Grand Rapids,
Michigan area to be closer to their daughter and grandchildren.

He is survived by daughter: Connie Houston; son-in law: Terry Houston; grandchildren: Megan Fader and Daniel Fader; Daniel's wife Danielle, and great grandchildren: Allessandra Sellner, Jayden Ellis, Adalynn Fader, Daniel Fader Jr., Braylon Christensen, and recently born Maxwell Fader.
