Donald R. Rexford "Rex", age 87, of Kentwood, went to be with his Lord , Friday, February 24th. Rex was preceded in death by his loving wife Evangeline in 2007. He is survived by his children; Gayle Mohler, Brian (Terri), Bruce (Rhonda), Trudy (Cris) Doornbos, Karen (Steve) Boersma, Barry Rexford, 15 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Rex was a long time employee of Rowe International, 43 long and faithful years. He was also instrumental in starting the Kentwood Baseball League, it was a true passion of his. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, February 28 at 11am at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 1253 52nd Street SE, Kentwood. Visitation will be held at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Kentwood, on Monday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
