Donald Eugene May, age 81, of Grand Rapids, passed away unexpectedly on June 17, 2026.

He was born on February 5, 1945, in Grand Rapids.

Don proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.

He will be lovingly missed by his family. 

Visitation will be held from 11:00am util 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Avenue SE, Kentwood.

Burial will take place at 2:00 pm at Chapel Hill Memorial Cemetery where Military Honors will be rendered by the U.S. Army and Kent County Veteran Honor guard.
