Donald Buddy Holsworth (Bud), 89 years old of Villa Rica, Georgia went to be with his Lord & Savior on June 12, 2026.

Bud was born Oct. 7, 1936 in Avoca, MI. to Samual & Ruby (Robinson) Holsworth. He was one of ten children.

He was a volunteer firefighter in Avoca for 25 yrs. He was the first building inspector for Kenockee Twp. and mason by trade for 60 years owning his own business. He was also known for owning the Holsworth’s Restaurant in Avoca for several years before moving South. He lived in Georgia for the past 40 years, most of which with his wife Bert, who preceded him in death in September of 2007. They faithfully attended Word of Life Gospel Ministries in Carrollton, GA. for many years together.

Bud enjoyed being outdoors working in garden and just walking in woods. He also enjoyed canning his bounty and going to auctions!

He is survived by his daughters Donna (Mark) Rosenau and Donella (Dan) Belote, both of Coldwater, MI, his grandsons Ron (Claire) Holsworth of Lansing, MI. Patrick (Lexi) Rosenau of Burlington, MI, his great granddaughter Eleanor Rosenau, his step children Patti (Kevin) Sharpe of Lake Port, MI and Dennis (Jane) McLarty of Yale, his brother Robert Holsworth of Florida, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his step children Richard (Linda) McLarty of Yale and Sally Bethway of Kingman, AZ.

He will live forever in our Memories!
