Donald Eugene Chapman, 61 years old, was born on June 22, 1954 and passed away April 23, 2016. He is survived by Sherri, his wife of 41 years, their children; Michelle (Ted) St. Clair, and Nicole (Neil) Cummings, as well as their grandchildren; Teddy (9) and Hope (8) St. Clair and Reece (4), Bennett (2), and Lincoln (14 mo) Cummings. He is also survived by his five siblings; Linda (Glen) Vance, Gary (Regina) Chapman, Tom (Becky) Chapman, Kathie (Jim) Ruth, and his twin Ron (Elizabeth) Chapman. Outside of his careers in sales and construction, Don spent much time loving on his family, serving in his Church as a beloved Sunday School teacher, as well as reading and studying scripture. He loved to spend time outdoors fishing and hunting, could build or fix anything he put his mind to, and was known by all for his great sense of humor, his ability to tell a wonderful story, and his love for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The family will be holding a memorial service on April 30 at Sparta Church of the Nazarene, at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given toward a trust for his grandchildren's college education and sent to Sparta Church of the Nazarene, 665 13 Mile Rd. NW, Sparta, MI 49345.
