Don Anthony George was born to Barbara George and Donald Thomas on February 3, 1976. Don was the second born out of four children. He was always outgoing and very friendly to others. He enjoyed playing basketball, fishing, and telling jokes. To his friends he was known as “Donnie”.

On February 16, 2026, Don was called home after being very sick for many years. He was such a fighter. He would do everything he could to come home from the hospital, no matter how sick he had been.

Don will be greatly missed by his whole family.

Don was preceeded in death by is father, Donald Thomas and leaves behind, to cherish his memory, his mother, Barbara George Bogard; his siblings, Angela George, Bobby (Linda) George, and Carleatha George; his six children, Serena Timmons, Donkiece George, Anthony George, Deontae George, Alexis George, and Donavon George; ten grandchildren, Jalen, Tyrell, Jeremiah, Israel, Ryleigh, Lailah, Kairi, Amir, Alaya, and Armoni; and eight nieces and nephews, Jessica, Lakisha, Latikia, Kalia, Alex, Rozlynn, Tanasha, and Jeremiah.

He is also survived by his uncle Adolph and aunt Diane George; aunties Martha, Dee, and Denise; as well as many brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, and uncles on his father’s side of the family and countless friends.

Visitation will be held from 12:00pm until 2:00pm on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Avenue SE, Kentwood, MI 49508.
